Ah, the DC metro...
Still cleaner and easier to use than the NYC metro, but they haven't yet figured out how to civilize the commuters.

The greatest moment I ever saw on the metro involved a two women and a packed train. There was no space on the train, so a woman on the platform grabbed a woman on the train, pulled her out, and jumped in her spot just before the doors closed. As I helped the forcibly evicted woman to her feet, someone nearby noted, "That bitch REALLY needed to get to work on time."
