And I totally agree with you. There is barely any snow on the ground in Olathe, but the roads aren't all that great. Still, that wouldn't have kept us in Blue Valley from going to school. I swear, they NEVER canceled school in Blue Valley. Now it's a regular occurrence.

BV was ALWAYS closed! Just like KCMO We'd get just a dusting and they'd cancel school quicker than you can say "I've fallen and I can't get up"!
But back then BV was farm land now it's practically the inner city.

I totally agree with you! Grew up in Western Kansas and one time it did snow and they should have called of school at the local catholic high school, they didn't. Even the state universtiy called off classes! So yes, kids these days are soft and i must add, SPOILED! Here is a shovel brother, start diggin!
