I have a tough time making specific requests for myself. I don't want to be greedy and I don't want to interfere with God's grand plan. The dominos are falling right in line right now with Hubby's new job closer to mine, the boys being OK about moving. There is a possibility that my cousin may buy our house. I hope she does, but I am having a hard time praying for it. I feel like I need to say thank you for the blessing thus far but asking for more would be too much. What a great lesson.
Prayer is a very powerful thing. The Bible tells us We have not because we Ask not..
I find the best thing to pray for is Gods will to be done, Then trust HIM to do what is best for us.
It's awesome that you have a rapport with the cashier. I shop at the big supermarkets locally for the majority of our grocery shopping because it's less expensive for me, but there is nothing 'personal' about my shopping experience each week. There is rarely the same face for more than a week or two :-(
I think it's wonderful that your experience of shopping is so vastly different to mine.
