Alison, the BBQ didn't happen -- the joint was closed for remodeling, which maybe just means that the red-checkered vinyl tablecloths were being replaced.

Kim, I think I know what you mean about the first date, but now I can't shake the image of S out at dinner without one of his parents around to wipe the pizza sauce off his ear.
