Great point, but when have we seen him falter when he DOES play first?? Well, the All-Star vote says exactly what we, the fans the world over, think. And the rain shield is moving northward from Long Island as I type this at 9:50am EDT. The game is iffy. If you want to track a live radar loop, go to my blog. You have to cut and paste it, and wait 10 seconds for the animation to kick in, but after that, you can go to it anytime up until gametime, or after, whenever the Boston weather is important. Thanks for your comment yesterday, Iain. Take care.

I just saw the live radar..no way to play today. Althought it's hardly raining at the Fens now. I hope I'm wrong.

Thus amounting to the only way for the Phillies to avoid another loss.
It's all bout rruns, and it's not hard to imagine Papi putting enough of them on the board to justify winning the MVP. His best chance is probably a year in which his strongest competition is a mediocre fielding corner IF or OF with lesser offensive stats. Say if it's him v. Manny....

And now Papi's beaten the Phillies AGAIN. To think I used to like the guy.
