And the worst part here was right before Paps threw his first pitch Fox switched over to NASCAR! You had to scramble to find the continuation of the game.
I strongly dislike Fox sports.
I also grew up watching football and cricket (Windies). Your comments regarding the pacing of the games are spot on.
Having said all that wouldn't you love to see a good batter stay up there and really bat?
Kelly - my only exposure to Fox Sports is Buck and McCarver, so I would find it hard to disagree with you.
Natasha - you mean a good batter in cricket? I don't watch much cricket any more, but I always loved seeing someone put together a really huge innings, whether slowly and surely, or quickly and with great flair.
Hah, that was really unclear.
What I meant to say was that I would enjoy seeing at least once (it would never work long term) is a an excellent batter in baseball have a chance to really bat like in cricket.
In my perfect world baseball would become a teeny bit more like cricket.
But then again in my perfect world cricket would enjoy an explosion of interest in the US and I'd be able to watch both games at my leisure on cable. :D
