I see Shaunnessy has reversed himself now. The Sox could not have ordered up a better starter to face tonight than Kazmir. This kid has totally lost his once awesome slider. His confidence is shot. He is trying to make a living off his fast ball which still has some mediocre location qualities, and a change-up, which is mediocre for his "out pitch". If you can get money down on baseball put it on the Sox tonight. Now once back down here at the Trop, if Mr. Beckett and Mr. Lester produce as they are capable......

Don - It's a tough road for the Sox. I like Dice-K's chances, but Beckett has been off his game and Lester got shelled, so they're no sure bets either. Still, that's the joy (and pain) of postseason baseball and the reason why they play the games: anything is possible and anything can happen.
I know you're rooting for a Rays / Phillies Series. You've already got half the deal, but I sincerely hope the Sox mess up the other half

Hopefully there's no champagne opened tonight at Fenway.

Of course I have not "watched" 11 seasons of slag ball to now be displeased with what is happening. I have a soft spot for the Sox going back to the 66' last place team and the 67' Miracle team, there is a part of me still happy when they win. It is hell to be so double minded.

Ernie - with you on that.
Don - so it's win-win-win for you. Phils, Rays, Sox. You are a lucky man!

I think I was wrong about Kazmir, just a tad. But maybe you bet the game? Nah, not on my advice. That hurt last night. Maybe the Sox.... no, I have to follow Ray think...only think about it "30" minutes or so...God Mr. Maddon where do you go to get that switch installed??? I can't find it on my brain, it keeps on thinking!!! Son of a bitch!!! (Excuse me, a bit of Phillie fan just came out.)

Joe Maddon called it: 9 (Sox, all pulling together) = 8 (runs, for a historic win).
This thing ot interesting all of a sudden.
