I'm SO sorry about your son. He's in my prayers. I hope he is not in too much pain. Can I ask - did he have any say so about the pink cast? I'm just asking because I have a 9 year old son and let me just say he would not stand for a pink cast. Maybe that kind of think gets better with age?
Your latest projects are wonderful. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the socks! I'm just learning to knit myself. (I check your blog almost every day for encouragement.) I've just started my first project a very simple scarf. I only know how to cast on, knit and bind off. And I've only learned that in the last two weeks. But I really want to make some of those socks! And a baby hat. That's on my list too.

The hat has a striking stitch pattern and I really like the new sock yarn colourway.
I think Adam needs a pillow wrapped around that arm for the next year. Love those striped socks too!
