I need to get some of my malabrigo out of my stash and on to my needles! Actually, I just need to get the needles (both knitting and sewing!) going again! Pretty FO! 
I've been wanting to knit Koolhaas ever since I saw it in person when a knitter friend of mine had knit it. I'm not sure anyone in my family would wear it though, so I'm not sure I want to get started with it...
LOVE the colors in the scarf and the scarf pattern itself is really nice. I've not seen that pattern knit up before (except maybe on the YH's blog).
I love how those decreases look! So seamless and subtle. I'll have to give it a try.

I think I must be the last person on earth to knit Koolhaas, and I have no immediate plans to do so (it's a little too late in the winter to start knitting hats for me). However, I do love how yours turned out -- great, great color! I'm sure you can find a worthy recipient.
I have seen a few of the Koolhaas on blogs lately, and they all look great! I'm sure you'll have an easy time finding someone to take it off your head, er, hands.

The decreases on the crown of the hat are beautiful. I love the color. But I know what you mean about the size. I don't like hat that are big. They feel like they are falling off! The scarf looks good.
I'm knitting the same scarf in Malabrigo and enjoying the mindless knitting. The Velvet Grapes colorway is pretty!
