Huckabee is the nightmare candidate that two decades of the GOP courting the religious right has produced.

The Republican party has abandoned its roots of fiscal conservatism. The biggest swing vote that they neglect is those who are socially liberal but fiscally conservative. Wonder why Wall Streeters are defecting in droves to the Democrats? It is because the prospect of an Arkansan preacher president is utterly terrifying for those of us who live on the coasts.

It's not just those on the coasts who are terrified. Though any of the candidates outside of Ron Paul scare me half to death.
