I think that should be directed to Football (American), NASCAR, and for the large part, basketball. If you stuck your head outta ur ass once in a while, you'd see that the rest of the world is indulged in soccer. Being a Canadian, I know for a fact that soccer isn't big here in North America (we're all wrapped up in hockey) because we have other sports that are marketed well, but i'm also not retarded thinking that just because it's not big here, it's not big anywhere else.

I'm an American and I know many people that care about the world cup. I personally haven't missed a game. Soccer is a sport that has real athletes.On average a player may run up to 5-8 miles in one game(thats not counting pro).I think that many people don't like soccer because theres not enough scoring. If you have played the sport you would see how hard it is to kick a long ball or shoot a good shot (on goal). I would love to be able to go to England and run and celebrate on the streets after a goal is scored. The world cup is like our super bowl. Only the whole country is for one team.
