This is a symptom that the PC victim culture has gone awry. Weight is clearly within the realm of proper subjects for a doctor to discuss. I say give that doctor a medal for doing his job!

My brother, a nurse practitioner in Utah, should really read about this. His bedside manner would give House a run for his money.
It always seemed to me that being fat was the one thing that people ought to be more open about seeing as it is a pretty obvious condition.
