To the People

So, let me get this straight? You think that because an adopted child will likely feel a longing about their biological family, that it would be better to just go ahead and kill them while in the womb...take their young life away because they may have some troubles later on? What rosy world are YOU living in? The idea that since life won't be perfect for all involved, and may be downright miserable at times, that we should just kill babies off for convenience, makes absolutely no sense. Welcome to the human race. Life is perfect for NO ONE. For many life is never easy or fun. Does this mean life is worthless? Maybe we should all do ourselves in so that no one ever has to be unhappy, unfulfilled, or inconvenienced. The point I'm making here is - what should be the overriding consideration here? Is it okay to consider life disposable at the surmising of what MAY or MAY NOT happen in the future? You are an example of how haughty and self-serving our society has become. Do you ever stop to think what the unborn child goes through in an abortion? Do you realize it is an excruciatingly painful death? Do you even care? And you think it should be doled out for any reason, on any whim, because someone like you has determined that the child's future life might not be perfect and wonderful (but the truth is, you have no way to ever know what the future holds)? How sad this debate has become.
