Jager Mom sounds like a typical American hypocrite. I am pretty sure she already votes Republican and will stay that way. And I am sure she goes to Church on Sundays, probably Catholic, and takes communion, embraces the church's anti-homosexual stance but ignores any rules that might incovenience her, such as those against birth control or pre-marital sex.

Anon: Well of course. The majority of people are hypocrites the majority of the time. If you write off all the hypocrites to the Republicans, you'll enver win a thing.

Most people don't take a lot of time to measure this convenience against that moral rule. That makes them hypocrites, but it also makes them arguably more well-adjusted than the rest of us, too.

And yes it's a problem for the Libertarian "Party of Principle" approach. But it's not a problem that's going away any time soon.
