Remember when entrapment was a tool that police weren't allowed to use?

These days, it seems that "police work" consists of duping otherwise harmless people into committing crimes, then arresting them for it. What could be the point other than pumping up one's own resume?

90% of every mom and pop Chinese massage parlor is a rub and tug. LA has thousands of them, also owned by Koreans. Generally, they are left alone although a few get busted just to send some kind of nebulous message. How do I know, I slept at a Howard Johnsons last night. Live and let live I say. If a guy wants a garlic breathed, dental nightmare from China to rub him off after dropping 60 or so clams who the hell does it hurt? My ex-roommate is a card carrying member of a number of these "parlors" and he seems to be happy although his wife would strangle him if she knew. Myself, I'm too paranoid and guilt ridden to even try...
