This story is somewhat humorous and tongue-in-cheek, to be sure. But I remain convinced that there will eventually be a backlash against the hyper-prolific academic blawgers such as Volokh, Reynolds and Coulter, either from indignant trustees or, in the case of public universities, uppity politicians who are going to start asking exactly what these people are being paid to do all day.

Even if it was all her own copy, 2,300 words worth of blog posts (as opposed to polish essay copy you'd submit to a newspaper or something)? That's nothing; a couple hours work tops, and that's including the time to scan your newsfeed and read source material.
