Is the equal rights movement largely won or is the major network just insinuating a gay relationship between the LoTR characters to create entertainment? I think they're very different. Is the recent proliferation of gays on television a sign of winning the equal rights movement? I'm not sure, but I never want to be lulled into thinking because people love gays entertaining them that they'll allow contracts to be honored between them (marriage).

What?!!!?!?!?!?! Thats just well, thats not why I thought TBS had the lord of the rings. I was on one of the sets they actually filmed on, and I havent heard any of the sort. I think you should check your sources again. By the way, Frodo and Sam are NOT GAY!!!!!! they just have a great friendship, and if you've seen the movie you'll know why.
