McCain stepped in and essentially drove the UFC underground. Dana White and the Fertitta brothers bought it out, made the sport safer and commissioned it, and now look at it. It has legitimacy and is still brutal.

The LP needs to get off it's slippery slope argument of, "if we give a little, we'll be just as bad as the D's and R's". You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
