To the People

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that most people don't oppose banning foie gras because most people have never eaten foie gras (and don't care to).

Try to ban Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich because the chickens are mistreated during the spicifying process and you'll get different results.

Having never had foie gras myself, I'm going to have to try it now to see what all the fuss is about. It sounds delicious, engorgingly delicious.

It's insanely good. If you're in DC, I recommend a trip to Bistro du Coin. It's reasonably priced and done right.

It sounds disgusting to me.

This coming from someone who ate dinner -- dinner! -- at 7-Eleven this past Friday.

um, didn't you have a twinkie and five beers for lunch on saturday?

ps
the foie gras at bistro d'oc on 10th is way better (and more savory) than the bistro du coin version.

It was a Twinkie and five beers and a couple glasses of wine, thank you.

Ahh the inherent ugliness of democracy. When 51% realize that they can negate 49% on every single matter then all is truly lost..
