If you think tha a child(or anyone for that matter)who thinks of others first and always looks to help is more dangerous than soneone who has lust and violence in thier heart. Then your view works. As for your lion comment I rest my case. Love vs violence.
A true Christian want nothing more than for you to find peace and happiness. Not jam something down your throat.

I pray that you remeber when three men threw a follower of Christ into a lions den and he Was NOT harmed. He was released and the three man were thrown into the lion's den...THEY DIED!(Daniel 6:18-24) But I pray everyday that your view of christianity will change and you will know God's Love personally. How can a free gift of eternal life in a place where there is no pain, suffering,...not even a tear be considered dangerous?

What is this world coming to? How dare a group promote kindness, love forgiveness, respect and real freedom. not to mention that this group would teach that God loved us so much that He sent His Son to pay the penalty that we deserve for the wrongful things we've done. how could someone love us so deeply? it just can't be. lets stick to violence, selfishness, vulgarity, sex without parameters, disrespect for marriages and as a result the disturbed children we are producing.

I say amen to McCaul's comments. Yes, there are fanatics among those of us known as Christians and I don't like what they do any more than you do. But, the teaching of Jesus is not something to fear as a threat or danger unless you find it makes you feel guilty for the sinful life you are leading. If that is why you fear it, remember that it is a religion of love and forgiveness. Jesus paid the price for our sins. We simply must believe. I will pray that you find the joy that I know as Jesus Christ said, "Pray for those who dispitefully use you and say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in heaven."

To say that sex and violence would be better for children to watch than Christian values is something one would say who has No concept of children. I try and protect my children, not shelter them but protect them. Christianity is about love. Love is the key word in the first 2 commandments(Matt.22:37-40). I pray for you and the views that you have on this subject. God is a merciful God but he is also a just God. I believe that God wants everyone to be with him in heaven. He created everyone in his image, and that means you and your somehow misconstrewed opions on Christianity. I don't believe that Christians are shoving our values down people's throats. We are having just about everything we believe in and hold strong to taken away. Our children can't pray in school,read the bible, or have any other mention of God or they may have severe consequences to pay. This country was built on God, "In God we Trust". What happened to that? This world is not getting better it is getting worse. We are so far away from God as a whole that I believe he is about to wash he hands w/ us just as he did w/ Sodom and Gomorrah(Gen.19:12-29). I'm not a saint, I am a woman,wife,mother, and friend who messes up just as much as anyone.I just want something good for my children. Something innocent, uplifing, something to get them to see the good this world can offer. The goodness in others, so that they can offer that goodness to some who needs it. You will be in my prayers.
