Hmm...as a woman who has spent her career in a "power" profession this is of interest to me. First, I disagree with Noer's assertion that "many men, particularly successful men, are attracted to women with similar goals and aspirations." Every single man whom I have worked with, including my junior staff, are married to stay at home wives. It is so 1950s that these guys, many of whom are under 30, have no idea what a supermarket looks like or how to use an ATM. Seriously. It is like the Stepford Wives, circa 2006. |

I'd take a "career woman" any day of the week if it means I can become one of these new-age (jobless) men the Times was profiling a few weeks ago. |

i have no problem bringing home the bacon (more of it or all of it) for "my man" as long as i know that he is the one cooking it up for me. preferably it is ready when i get home, but hey i won't be that old-fashioned. |
