Lefkowitz was my Classics professor as well and I have "Not Out of Africa" on my shelf. Excellent book! Interesting analogy, Leonardo. I think we do make a mistake when we fail to engage the fundamentalist Christians because we assume that they're just a bunch of backwards rednecks who aren't worth our time. Clearly that is no longer the case. |

You'd think Christian fundamentalists could at least read the beginning of the Bible, like the part in Genesis where God gives man free will. I do, which is why I'm an anarcho-capitalist. Who are they to think they know better than God??? |
