So now I have to stockpile French fries with my automatic weapons, cigarettes, alcohol, and just about everything else the founding fathers revolted against because of unwarranted taxation. I would consider putting products into the black market to be taxation without representation. When they come for my morning tea, there will be blood.

The grand irony with the trans fats issue is that they came into popular use only because the public health lobby forced fast food joints to stop using animal fats, which were deemed in the 90s to be the devil that they are now saying trans fats are.

A parallel public health lobby malpractice was the pressure to move from butter to margarine, which is disgusting and, I believe, a trans fat.
