To the People

Great piece, man!

I smiled when I saw the headline about this guy in the news earlier this week. Standing up to the IRS seems honorable and patriotic to me. Down with the IRS.

Good article!

why is it that when you're law abiding, you have a ranch, but break one law, and all of a sudden you live in a "hilltop compound"?

I joked with Brown about the "compound" thing. That's from the AP article the copywriters used to flesh out the details. If Brown was hiding nearly $2 million in income, I think his "compound" deserves to be upgraded to an "estate."

Brown said he has a blog with photos of the house, but he didn't know the URL and I haven't found it yet. I'll look again later. If anyone else finds it, please post it here.

I mean "copyeditors" instead of "copywriters."

Brown's house could be more called a McMansion.

The nice thing is, it's totally self sufficient, runs on its own power, and he has his own food supply and doesn't need anything brought to him.

There are no plans to swarm the place and so there is nothing to do. Stay home and support him in your writings, but please, stay home! There is nothing to see there.

(The few supporters who are there are on the outskirts and NOT barricaded inside or armed...believe me, I know them all)

My father Scott Dion is associated with Edward Brown. He believes strongly that what Brown is doing is right. My dad is contemplating whether or not he should join the "defenders" as he may die if the property is stormed. I have to say one thing if Brown dies I sure as hell will attend his funeral.
