I think at this point it is fair to question whether every social conservative is campaigning vigorously against what they actually practice surreptitiously. Almost every House member who led the Clinton impeachment was doing something on the side. Heck, Henry Hyde even had a secret second family. Vitter, Craig, Foley, Allen...The list is getting very long.

craig wasn't really known as a fighter for social conservatives as i understand him...not like a foley or something.

sidenote: he was against the renewal of the patriot act..
