To the People

The transgender issue is extremely complicated and interesting issue as it gets to the core of the problem of individual liberty morphing into forced tolerance and acceptance.

In a free country an individual is free to have a sex change operation. However, that individual cannot expect a right to have no one stare at him or her in the restroom or be made uncomfortable by their transexual status. Hello: if you have a sex change operation then you are going to make many people uncomfortable. People have a right to be uncomfortable with whatever they like, so long as it does not interfere with individual freedom. A stress-free bathroom environment is not a definer of individual freedom.
