Typical first come, first serve behavior. Once you make it big, you want to make sure no one else can follow you, so big capitalists can become Capitalists' biggest enemies. It's really typical for him to mention that government needs to play a part. But he's learned his lesson from the antitrust stuff. You have to be government to succeed, you can't just do the whole making money part well. |

You probably just need to tell your new Vista applications to save your documents in the older format. |

You said it well. I was just asking my brother the other day "how can the Bill Gates charity only give money to other non-profits"? Doesn't it go against every capitalist principle to be "non-profit"? How can a "non-profit" ever be truely sustainable? If Microsoft was a non-profit it certainly doesn't seem like Bill would have been in any position to even start the charity. So Bill doesn't want to help anyone else to ever be able to give away money like he is? He insists that any recipient of his charity be subserviant to him? Very seems very strange to a struggling capitalist... I mean, I'm all for charity, but how do I give away something if you never let me make anything to begin with?!?! |

I get sick of hearing of his charitable donations....almost all of which go overseas. What about helping the people in your own country first? |
