this thing does tend to push my libertarianism to the edge though. When I hear about workers fired for smoking cigarettes, minor safety infractions,etc...
take drug testing for example. Once something like this becomes so pervasive that it is nearly impossible to find a company that doesn't do it; the whole "well, just find another employer" argument doesn't really fly.
Libertarians often write off rights' violations when done by anyone other than the government.
Given today's world, I don't think this can just be glossed over.
