Being a small "l," libertarian, live-and-let-live sort in Montgomery County is akin to being a New Age free-love guru in a Wahhabist madrassa. In east Pakistan. Tolerant, inclusive Montgomery, is anything but (Montgomery, like the Jim Crow south of old, tolerates that which thinks like it does, and punishes that which does not). In this country we are wedged between coercive assholes of the right and left. I quit smoking in 1985, but I'm thinking of taking it up again as a matter of principle

ahh , yes the nazi hospitals,
who do not pay staff for their break times, yet forbid you to go outside and smoke.
at frederick their new lie is sccusing staff of sitting on neighbors porches across from the hospital and puffing away, and horribly littering neighboring lawns and homes with butts.
do we look that stupid, please come up with a better fib. what staff member anywhere would do such a thing.
fredericks demise may be the public park right outside their door. they tried to ban smoking here, but the mayor said no way. thank you, the staff's only hope.
