This is already a problem in my town, as a huge portion of city taxes are needed to cover the past few generations passing out cushy contracts to their friends and families.

None of the city unions ever seems to get the the well does in fact have a bottom. Of course, the members all move to other towns to avoid the tax rate.

I read a report a few months back that said not counting benefits the average federal worker is paid DOUBLE the amount
earned by their private sector counterparts. Since we all know that they have better benefits as well we ought to feel pretty screwed. Think about it: in addition to double pay they get 30 days sick leave and 30 days paid vacation a year plus a ton of paid holidays. How many private sector employees have got it so good?
