Nate, thank you for picking up this story. That we are "ill equipped" is ridiculous as the US has the best economy of all of the other states polled.

Though we are much less efficient than other governments as the UK takes a similar tax take but manages to provide national health with it.

Yeah, I certainly can't defend the US government's efficiency. (Of course, I can't defend the UK's either.)

But looking at the tax to date field on my paycheck stub sure doesn't prompt me to use the word "meager" for the tax take here... regardless of how it compares to Europe's tax takes.
