Ramirez-Sliwinski's $75 ticket was for "disorderly conduct," which Kilbourne defined as, "when a person does something that alarms or disturbs another." "when a person does something that alarms or disturbs another" = we can charge you with a crime for any reason whatsoever and you can have it dismissed in court after spending thousands on legal fees. It's good to know kowtowing to people's sensitivities trumps the First Amendment these days. |

thanks for finding that. i would have guessed it was for disorderly conduct or something like that. i just wasn't sure how they could justify it. |

I guess if she had not already had arguments with the neighbors it would not have mattered. She always thinks she knows what is best for everyone else. This village has gone to hell with the argument of an ordinance that would bar illegal's from renting apartments. It was based upon one of the trustee's who is an accountant noticed how the Fire Department was losing so much money because of services to illegal's that don't have any insurance, so they don't pay the bill. Most city ambulances will charge $500.00 or more dollars. You have ten illegal's, that is a lost of %5000.00 and it ain't going to go away soon. |

Miggs found that quote in the article you linked to, Mr. Rob. This same article also verified my assumption that a racially sensitive, angry black mother was involved. I'm sure momma educated these children by telling them that the only explanation for such a comment was racism. How could any reasonable person compare kids who swing from limb to limb with their hands and knees to monkeys? It MUST be racism! |

Emmanuel Driggers is not going to like this due to racist remark. Driggers is a black man. |
