I don't blame you for hating your stay; everyone has their own preferences and there are a ton of reasons to leave this city volunteerly.

eh...$17.5 seems a bit high, esp since I think the total amount that they claim film brings into the state is like 80 mil a year. As for tourism one way or the other -- it has zilch impact. Like 1.5 mil watch the wire on a good sunday.

People might not visit the city because of the frightingly scary wire like reality...but that has nothing to do with the television show and more to do with national headlines.

that, unfortunately is real and not a plot line of David Simon....

I had an older friend named Grayson who was from Baltimore. I remember asking him if he had fond memories of the place. He said "Baltimore is a great place to be from, FAR from".
