yeah, germans are not the most sympathetic or cordial people on the planet...just having visited germany recently i can say that in general (yes a generalization here) they seem kind of dorky and have not heard of the cencept of personal space. they are, indeed, efficient in terms of what they say and how they get around. that part of the stereotype seems to be true.

I love that the picture accompanying the article is of some random guy chainsawing wood. Apparently, we can't imagine the story without a visual of some chainsawing, even if it's 3,500 miles away and 18 months in the past.
