I too was outraged by this. CNN had a piece on it today and a right-wing lunatic pundit whose name I can't remember made two great points. 1) If schools are afraid that playing tag will result in lawsuits, then why don't they just wrap up every kid in nerf-wear? and 2) childhood obesity is out of control how could we be forcing kids to stop running around? |
