The rest of the world believes that we're cut off from outside events, but do they really believe that you can buy automatic weapons at a supermarket? I suspect time will tell that this was yet another crime committed with guns that were illegal in the first place, just like Columbine was.

The British can take their sense of superiority and shove it, considering that you're five times more likely to be mugged in London than you are in New York, guns or no.
