As a recent GW grad, I'm pretty sure their endowment is gonna stay small: my friends and I feel like GW's already raped our wallets to the extent that I, at least, will never be volunteering to give them shit.

I was (theoretically) a student at GW 30 years ago, and it was nowhere near that expensive in relation to other private schools. For some reason, the rate of tuition increase went nuts in the early '80's. Like you, I don't understand how they get away with it. Neither the education or the experience is all that great.
