I'm torn on Larry Craig, though. This letter from the ethics panel sounds to me like saying "How dare you exercise your right to due process?!?"

Sure, the guy's a hypocritical douche, but we shouldn't hate on him. We should hate on the culture that pushes these types of behaviors out of the bedrooms of consenting adults and into the shameful fluorescent lighting of public bathrooms.

Thanks, Guy. Regarding Craig, yeah, he's a curious one, the kind of extreme closet case you wouldn't think still existed in the 21st Century.

So should we pity him or mock him? Think of it this way: It would be a lot easier and safer for him to get his something-something on the side through, say, Craigslist (not that I know how that works!). Instead he CHOOSES to cruise for it in public stalls.

I'm guessing that some part of him wants to get caught and exposed. That was the idea behind the post title anyway.
