It totally amazes me how you talk about Chef Durand the most. There are 15 countries who have banned foie gras including Israel who used to manufacture it. California has a plan to have it totally banned by 2012. The President of the Chicago Humane Society was there against it, which represents 65,000 people in this city. Ducks vomit continually, have broken, bloody beaks from the forced feeding, lay in it, diarrhea continuously and none of them are cleaned up. They have a totally miserable life. You know, you get from the universe what you give. This city is finally getting better about going green. Congratulations Mayor Daley. Let's not just think about ourselves and think about what's best for the universe, which includes not abusing animals. It's time to start thinking bigger than ourselves. This city is mainly democratic and that's what I thought being a Democrat was.
