First time visiter. I followed you over from Denny's.
Pretty good morning but it could have been a very fun evening. Like you I had a very hot house when I returned from the holiday weekend at my sisters. I decided to put in a air conditioner in my bedroom window. I also installed it wrong but, fortunetly, got through the night. I am surprised it did not fall out of the window to my flower bed down below. I will be fixing that this evening and then properly fastening it in. Of course the temperature gets much better as the week goes on at least up here in Michigan.
I hope the rest of your day goes much better than it started out. Good luck with the pillow. I have two of my "favorite pillow" just for such occasions. I really do not sleep well without that pillow.
YIKES!!!!!!!!! What a way to start a day. Makes the dozens of things I have on my agenda look like a walk in the park.

Nothing like getting all the bad crap out of the way early on in the morning eh?~~ Now I know the rest of your day could only go up from there. 
WEll, it went just fine as soon as my class reminded me we were on a Tuesday schedule (uh, because it IS Tuesday) and not a Monday schedule (uh, because it isn't....well, you get it)!
Ceiling fans only make you feel cool if you are under them, they do not cool the place at all.
I would have kept the wet pillow, thats what they do in Texas when its hot, wet down the sheets.
Poor puppy.
