That is a great analysis, and I often use the repeated games with Fritz to try get to the truth of a position. I once held an adjourned game where I was clearly worse by playing it against Fritz so many times until I started to uncover a defenesive try that works with inaccurate play from my opponent.
I was going to run the Namilov tablebases for you, but then I realized you were right about the extra piece.
Finally, how heroic of Natasha to stay through to the end like that with you instead of hopping on a bus back to Boston.
A lot of you guys really picked up the slack once DG left the scene. Nice stuff!
Btw is anyone planning to do Boston based USCL coverage on this blog now that DG isn't blogging?

I think we are going to get some Boston based USCL coverage going here, never fear.
Personally I'm hoping there will be a groundswell of readers calling for DG to come out of retirement to be the designated blogger for the USCL season.
Not to worry Greg I will provide the Boston Blitz coverage here and it will be much better than before.

I hate to tell you, but people actually liked DG's Blitz coverage. Besides, as a team member, I don't think your coverage will really be the right kind of coverage for our blog.

What happens if you let Fritz play aginst one of the other chess engines, and let them play it out 1000 times in quick games overnight?
If I can, I'll set up that experiment and let you know.
