You know what I don't like about the blog challenges? I know absolutely zip about 1968. They are always throwing in some oddball thing. Why can't it be set in 1987 or something?

Well, it wasn't that hard. I know a thing or two about guns. Write what you know, right? I'm going to keep trying this out - it's a good exercise for me to have to write within parameters. Haven't done it since school.

I have had the same experience. I generally have to find out what is going on that year...mine was about the space race. KelBel wrote about MLK assasination and Glen wrote about the power protest of the summer olympics. One of the things I like about this is that I get to learn things about the year. This is only the second time the year has been mandatory...the first was worse...1958...Nice story.
