Sex--I know what you mean. I smoke for a day and then I go forever without wanting a cig even though they are sitting there on the dash. I think I smoke just because I like watching smoke move.
I smoke when I drink the two go hand in hand for me.

I don't smoke, but I have friends who do when they're drunk, that's it, only then. I don't get it, but I envy the people at work who take 8 breaks a day to go outside and smoke/socialize in a little circle on the side of the building. Makes me wanna go pretend so I can join the fun and leave my desk! I can't though because Car Boy's out there. Damn.
Sure, I'll smoke. I love cigars. My nickname with my friends used to be the Godfather because I'd lend everyone money and smoke big fat cigars. I'm not kidding, you can't make this stuff up!

Darn good post sex, this smells like some post-fiction blogging. I met some of my best friends in college through smoking. Fullerton is in OC and nobody smokes in OC, for some reason. So we were the rag tag smokers trying to shield our cigs when a hot girl walked by because to those blondies, smoking was a big turn off. Fuckem tho, huh?
Everybody smokes at SMC though, so there's no real feeling of "communion".
You could be a much needed dose of fun for my friend. (Did I mention she has 3 boys under 5 years old?)

Very well said. I know you've smoked before, my mom sadly said to me once. I told her I'd only smoked three cigarettes in my life. She still looked sad.
My non-smoking friends will never really understand that you don't have to be addicted to smoke. Once there's a cigarette in your hand, suddenly a whole other world of people opens up for you.

At least we know why you hate running so much. We just had the no-smoking ban go into effect and it makes the bars stink like nobody's business. I may hated smelling like ciggarettes after every show, but at least it covered up the rest of the bar stink.
Highschool reunions are like digging your own grave: uncomfortable and smelly.
