My son mentioned a "friend" before. Something about being on the new bus and in his playroom. I didn't ask questions, nor has he brought it up much. He's pretty quiet and sticks to the conversation at hand, so I guess he had no need to talk more of it. I'm glad he uses his imagination when he's alone. I'd be worried if he didn't.
I' obtuse at times. I'm sorry. Is the imaginary friend Matt come to visit? What did PHF think of that? I am sorry for PHF's loss. Bryce (a teen I know) lost his best friend a year and a half ago, but his BF bled to death in his arms after falling down a cliff. It kills me to think about it. I hope Bryce ends up as normal as PHF in the long run. It's been very hard for him.

I've always thought that imaginary friends were ghosts.
I had many imaginary friends as a child, and none I recall actually seeing. I do believe that I was born to create characters though - I've been doing it as long as I can remember.
I didn't get into this much so it would read well; but yes, we've long suspected that "Matt" was for real.
Why does everything make me cry? I really loved this. It makes me wonder how my little guy will be when he's The Lad's age.

I tried to have an imaginary friend when i was younger but I just couldn't fool myself, damnit. I tried very hard, I named him Max, but deep down i always knew he wasn't there.
Max was there, babe, you just weren't looking in the right places.
And yes, he still believes, because Santa only comes as long as you believe, and he brings most of the presents.
