Dior Addict Plastic Gloss in Edgy Rosewood! It lasts and lasts and lasts and lasts and lasts. Oh, did I mention that it lasts?

I'm wearing Lancome's Le Rouge Absolu in Plum Spirit today, and I'm loving it! Don't be fooled by the shade online or in the tube...it's really more plummy when you put it on (on my olive skin, anyway). I really like this shade because I can dab it on for a little berry stain during the day, or I can layer it on with some gloss for evening. The texture is great, too...just enough creaminess to make my lips feel good, and it lasts very well.

Can anyone suggest a berry lip shade for asian skin? I LOVE the berry color, but I'm a little scared of picking a shade that's not right for me! Thanks

I love the blog. This is my first post, though. What berry lip shade would you recommend for a med-dark complexioned African-American woman ? Also could you recommend an inexpensive liquid liner? It may have been mentioned before, but I'm trying to get my courage up to try one. Thanks!

Hi Southerngirl!
I'm not sure about your lip question; let's see if other readers with a similar complexion can offer some advice. If not, I'll do some sleuthing for you!
As for liquid liner, try L'Oreal Lineur Intense - it works as well as lots of the expensive ones.
Hope that helps!
XO,
kristen

Berry lips are by far my favorite. NARS Eros is my favorite gloss, and NARS Tamango is the best berry red on my skin. Can't go wrong with NARS for berries and reds

I have more berry lipsticks than anything, but my favorites are Bobbi Brown Sheer Lipstick in Ruby, Bobbi Brown Crimson (nice color between red and berry), and Neutrogena Blushing Tulip.

Vickie, if you're still looking, I'm really liking L'Oreal Glam Shine in Sizzle. It's part of their 'holographic' line, but the shimmer is much more subtle on the lips than in the tube. The blue-based dark berry with my my light/med Asian skintone gives a similar effect to the look on the Tuleh model. It goes just a touch more on the red side on me, but my lips tend to turn colours a bit warm/orange, so it might be just right for you!

If you have a warmer skin tone, should you go with cool or warm berry tones? Does it matter?

I have always been a huge fan of berry shades. It all started for me with Trucco Stained, Aveda Sheer Ambrosia, Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey and L'Oreal Real Raisin. Wow, I just realized that I have been wearing natural, nude gloss for so long that I forgot about my first love....berry. Thanks for the reminder, Kristen. I gotta get some new! What should I get?????

I just bought the S8L today and love the color...but it bleeds a lot. I'll need a lipliner with this, which is disappointing. I'm usually a lazy lip lady! Any suggestions on brand/color?
