Can someone define "mauve"? Is it burgundy, purple/lavender, brown, red...? I'm trying to determine if this color palette will complement my skin tone. Thanks!

Jolene - I would describe mauve as a dusty rose plum with grey undertones. Definitely not brown or red. From this collection, I think the Mauve lipgloss is the closest to a classic mauve shade; the others are interpretations or takeoffs on the color. Hope that helps! I totally jumped on the iced mauve lipgloss and the gel eyeliner when I saw them yesterday.

I just bought the palette today and I am in LOVE. It is spectacular.
Fantastic palette. I'm a brunette with light blue eyes and fair skin. These colors are PERFECT for me. The blush is fantastic and gives me an extremely natural glow to my cheeks.
The lip colors are fabulous as well. I'm crossing my fingers that I will find these colors next year when my palette runs out.
It has taken me YEARS to find just the right colors for my complexion and hair color. I don't think I could bear not having these available in the future. Well done Bobbi!!
The Mauve Palette is stunning. It works on all colors very dark skinned to very light. Love it. If anyone is ever in on the North Shore in Long Island come visit me at Bobbi Brown Lord and Taylor Manhasset. We're having lots of Bobbi Events!!!
