I think teal eyeshadow can be very pretty when applied correctly. I like to use bold eyeshadow as part of my everyday makeup. I have olive skin and nearly black eyes, so vibrant shades don't come across as extremely shocking on me. I like to keep my makeup natural for work. So, I'd wear a strip of deep teal colorful liner, like the NARS pencil Kristen mentioned. I'd get creative and layer colorful shadows and liner for evenings out.

this is a staple shadow for me for summer.i'm a medium skinned Polynesian, and this really makes my skin tone pop, especially with just a little bit of bronzer.i also prefer a true turquoise insted of teal or aqua, and like it with a hint of shimmer and as a wash of color.if i do use a more opaque, richer version of the color the key is in placement-NEVER above the crease.any girl with a similar skin tone should definitely try this,if done right,it's gorgeous!

I love teals! I'm not too hot at applying them though. I always do it too heavy to where it looks like, "WOW, she has on a lot of make-up." Def gotta work on that.

I got tired of the purples and pinks and peaches of spring really fast, so the teals felt like a breath of fresh air.
Something about it is very eye catching. I think it could be worn as a day look provided that it's used very sparingly, like only on the top lash line.

My favorite way to wear teal is as a really thick line smudged into the lashline with a thinner layer of bronze smudged into the lashes. It looks fabulous with copper or bronze shadow, too.

It's not something I'd ever try as I abhor blue eyeshadow, but I have to admit, it looks good on Kate and Gwyneth. As long as people maintain the updated twist on this 80s fave, and don't go too retro, this could be a fun and workable trend.
