Ditto to everything you said, and I have to add that I'm not convinced that's really Paris in this ad. I think they just stuck a skinny blond who would pass for the real thing. Even Paris is over her fragrances.

I am not a fan of Paris Hilton. However, her first perfume is my signature scent. In fact, I receive compliments on it quite often and the people are generally horrified when I tell them it is Paris Hilton perfume! I've gone through two bottles of it already. I really like it, even though I really dislike her!

I agree with Smarter Beauty Blog. The girl in the ad doesn't even look that much like Paris.
I think the timing & name are both appropriate since she recently got out of the can (can)!
Smarter & Meg - I agree, the photo doesn't even really look like Paris! But it's definitely her - there was even a behind the scenes video from the photo shoot showing Ms. Hilton in all her perfumed glory.
Sophie - I didn't know that! Makes the name of the fragrance all the more appropriate. 
I couldn't care less about Paris Hilton, but one day at the store I picked up a bottle of "Heiress" and couldn't go home without it (not to mention it was on sale for $29!). I get so many compliments on it, many more than I ever received on perfumes I spent $70 or more on. Smell it, love it, just keep it behind closed doors in your armoire like I do!
Yeah, "Heiress" is good. It's not really fair to judge the perfume before you even smell it; sure it's not Chanel No5 or some other expensive, popular perfume but most people do compliment me for "Heiress."
Who cares about Paris Hilton? A fragrance is a fragrance is a fragrance.
I absolutely love Paris Hilton.... and I love her last two fragrances. I get compliments on them all the time.
first of all i dont care who does or doesn't like her. i have her 3rd fragrance and i love it got it for only 15bucks at walmart can't BEAT the price. who cares about her if u love the smell like i do it shouldnt even matter. GET over the drama
