I've heard so much about UDs PP. I've got to look around for this stuff.

I also found DHC's velvet skin coat works really well as a eyeshadow primer. Never creases!

The UD Primer Potion is seriously some of the best stuff ever! I'll do a thin layer of it and then put a thin layer of one of my MAC Paints such as Stilife on top and then apply my regular eyeshadows. You get the grippy-ness of the UDPP and the Paint (or any cream eyeshadow would probably work) allows shadow blendability.
So that's just another suggestion on how to get the most use of your UDPP!!!

Many thanks for the tip! I was considering buying the Smashbox Photo Primer, and thought perhaps that primer would also work as a good eyeshadow base (I was hoping this would cut down on costs, time, and makeup bag space). Any input on using just one primer product?

Totally agree, K! This is the only eyeshadow primer that has ever worked for me. And boy, does it work!

I do not put on any eyeshadow without this stuff, I love it. I don't know if it's the same where you live but in Seattle, this stuff is frequently sold out. I usually buy 2 or 3 tubes at a time when it's finally in stock.

It is amazing. I used Benefit's FYEye before this came out and while Benefit's primer is good, Urban Decay's is amazing. I can sleep in my makeup and wake up the next day and it's still pefect.

I went out and bought this yesterday after you recommended it to me Saturday night.
Eager to try my new purchase, I applied my eye makeup around 8:00 this morning and it's still holding up - no greasy crease in sight!
The only thing that I need to mention - don't overapply the stuff and know your colors.
I put on a little too much on this one spot on my right eyelid and it looks severely dry!
Accustomed to putting shadow onto naked lids, I only know colors as they translate onto my face.
Thankfully I picked nuetrals for this trial. Now, I'll know to be cautious with my more intense colors!
Thanks for another great find Muffy!!!

IT'S A MIRACLE WORKER. I SECOND YOU ON EVERY SINGLE STATEMENT YOU WROTE. AFTER A HARD NIGHT OF PARTYING & DANCING TIL I LOOK LIKE I TOOK A SHOWER, MY EYE MAKEUP IS STILL ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS.

I LOVE THIS STUFF! I have never been able to wear eyeshadow because my eyelids are so greasy, therefore limiting my make up possibilities. I wear it now and it lasts (almost) all night and day with no creases!

I have hooded eyelids...does this cause eyelids to look saggy and dry?
Does it get into your fine lines?
Thanks, Pam

i tried this primer after reading the comments. and i must say it really works. first let me say i have the oiliest skin ever. one day i applied a thin layer under my eyeshadow, before i went to the los angeles zoo. i went in the middle of summer and it was at least 98 degree at the zoo. and i absoutley had no crease, and i did not had to reapply my eye shadow andi spent the entire day at teh zoo until closing time. this product really works.

I absolutely love this stuff. However, the only bad thing is that the wand can only go straight down, so once you think it's gone dry, you can cut it half and scoop out the rest. There's so much left in there, that it's pretty much the equivalent of buying another one!
