Gravatar I had the same experience; the color was the same as the cap. But I admit the color lasted a long time.

Gravatar O-Glow and Tarte Cheek Stain in Flush are my favorite blushes. For me, a brown skinned woman, that berry color is the color that I naturally blush so the effect is gorgeous. I do think that with the O-Glow a little goes a very long way, so maybe a lighter application will work better for lighter women.

Gravatar I am a very fair skinned blonde and I did like the color of O-glow when I tried it at Sephora. However, after reading more about this product, it seems that part of the reason it "works" is that the Goji-berry extract actually stimulates the blood flow in your cheeks. Anyone who has any facial capillary issues (like myself) might want to think twice before committing to this product.

Gravatar I have to agree with one of the previous comments, a little does go along way! I'm olive skinned and the first time I tried it I didn't like it, but I gave it another chance and used just a tiny bit and really liked the way it looked and it lasted all day!

Gravatar Thanks for the review! I was skeptical about these type of products from the beginning and I am not going to buy them now.

Gravatar I've heard nothing but fuschia pink results from everybody I know.

I can't get around the idea of putting on a clear blush anyway! Even if it does change to the right color. Seems like it would just be too, too easy to apply it badly.

Gravatar Ive been wanting to try this, but the price tag has hindered me. I tried some on my hand at sephora and was shocked at how neon-pink it was. Im glad someone else thinks so! Id like to try it on my cheeks, but ehhh. I think I'll stick to Benetint if I want a clear cheek stain. Thanks for the review

Gravatar I'm glad to see that it's not just me and my funky skin tone. I was quite disappointed, because normally I really like Smashbox products, but this was more gimmick than a real beauty product. I do agree that on a very dark skin it's most likely to look gorgeous.

Gravatar I'm sick of these gimmicky products... why couldn't Smashbox just market O-Glow as a fantastic gel blush and release 7 different shades? And who thought bright fuchsia should be the only color choice?

Gravatar Initially, I thought this product was not so bad...but then I realized the color was not so "unique", and at least for me, the staying power didn't even compare to a Tarte cheek stain...it went back to Sephora.

Gravatar I have tried it - and it looks really nice on me (I am brown skinned) but I am feeling your point on paler skintoines. A little dab will do ya!

Gravatar i haven't tried it, but i was thinking about buying it and now i'm glad i didn't...i have very very pale skin, so fuschia isn't going to work... i will stick to my tarte cheek stain.

Gravatar I was thinking about trying this product after seeing it in the new Sephora catalog...but I don't think I will now! I am very pale, and any type of bright colored blush makes me look like Bozo the Clown. I think I'll stick with Bare Minerals Radiance for my blush.

Gravatar As it happens, I returned my tube of O-Glow today. I am very fair-skinned, and regardless of how it hyped, I think there is something off about the color it turned on my cheeks. It did look better on the olive skin of my future daughter-in-law.
The company should either market this as suitable for darker complexions or go back to the drawing board.

Gravatar I'm very fair skinned, but the O-Glow looks great on me. I put a little on, rub it in, and in about 30 seconds it seems to "calm down" and it looks very similar to Tarte cheek stain... but doesn't make my skin break out like the Tarte does.

Gravatar I second Brooke's comment - I'm pale, pale, pale - and after the first flush of fuschia it dies down to a nice pink shade. For the moment - it's a keeper for me! And you really need to use a TINY amount. Otherwise: overkill. I found it lasts much longer than the Tarte cheekstains, which I never liked also due to their slimy-factor.

Gravatar i have tried the O-Glow and personally like it (and intend to buy it) but i do wear pinkish blush quite often. but as far as blushes go, i'm obsessed with Stila's convertible color (i wear Rose). it does wonders if you need a little pick-me-up, and it lasts for a long time.

Gravatar I am very fair skinned and I love O-Glow. I just use a dab on each cheek and it looks very natural and lasts all day. There is a potential for the fuschia look if you put too much on, though. I don't even use regular blush anymore because I love this stuff!

Gravatar I am very fair skinned as well and I was in need of a new blush or cheek stain pronto, so I was thrilled when I won O-Glow from WeLoveBeauty.com a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it!! It makes my skin feel so soft.

Gravatar I have to say, I read about this stuff on welovebeauty.com, which is a pretty cool site btw, and i bought it. I like it. I'm olive skinned, and i thought it gave me a natural flush. You're right about the texture--its just like their primer--but i think that's a plus b/c it really helps it stay put. I can't decide if i like it better than my lorac stain though.

Gravatar I'm very fair too, and I love it. Yes, you have to use a very small amount and blend it in well. I get a very nice light pink stain that lasts quite a while. In fact I put it on so light that sometimes I add a layer of NARS Orgasm on top of it for a bit more color and some sparkle. I love it. Just make sure you put a small amount on and blend it in.

Gravatar I recieved a free tube from welovebeauty.com and usually have to use another powder over it but it makes for a great long lasting base

Gravatar Not for me...going back to Sephorah today....It looks like the color on the tube. YUCK!

Gravatar I just bout this product last week and I reaalu love it. I never have worn blush ever, but I tried the tester at Sephora and bought it there on the spot. looks great, and lasts a long time.
First blush product I have ever liked!!

Gravatar i have a hard time wearing blush (powder, cream, or gel-stick), but i adore this product. my skin is naturally a light tan , so i can't wear bronzer or brown-toned blush because it gives me that george hamilton look. o-glow gives me that just-off-the-beach light flush of color that makes me look far more innocent than i am. i was alarmed at first by the fuschia, but if you blend it in all along the curve under your cheekbone it looks extremely natural. and for those of us with less-than-perfect skin, its photo finish-like texture glides right over bumps.

Gravatar I went to a Smashbox makeup event at Sephora recently and the makeup artist put this on my cheeks. I have to agree, the color was not so flattering and I definitely wouldn't shell out big bucks for it.

But I DID fall in love with the O-Gloss. I find it bright, fun and flattering!

Gravatar I'm completely pale - bordering on glow in the dark - and this is one of the few blushes that doesn't make me look like a clown. I use very little and it goes a long way, but I love it.

Gravatar I have really fair asian skin and my 'natural' color was also a neon-pink that definitely looked like I walked out of Chernobyl fall-out. No way. I stick to my Stila push-ups!

Gravatar hey thanks , ill remeber that ...ive always been pretty curious about this one
